Lower the chair for example and you find the ultra-slim back and head rest gives you and your nurse excellent leg room so the right posture can be adopted for more comfortable working. The patient is supported by the anatomically formed backrest and seat cushion, which has been designed for outstanding comfort using the science of pressure-mapping.

How the A-Dec 500 chair moves and its ease of positioning is important too for access and comfort - that is why the A-dec 500 has dampened starts and stops which create an exceedingly smooth ride. It’s movement is synchronised with the anatomy and motion of the patient so they do not have to continually ‘readjust’ when the chair is moving. For example an innovative gliding headrest automatically follows the movement of the patient’s head when the chair back is raised or lowered.

Wide variety of options

The A-dec 500 range comes with a wide variety of options so you can configure it to meet your specific requirements. Traditional or continental delivery systems are available front-mounted to the chair, and due to a highly flexible, rotating arm, switching between left or right handed dentistry is simple. For optimum ergonomics the continental system can be positioned trans-thorax or completely to the side of the patient. The A-dec 500 is also available as the 12-o’clock delivery system mounted on a rear Treatment Console, or you can opt for a cabinet-mounted side delivery system which provides discreet parking when not in use.

Easy integration

The Adec 500’s stylishly designed control head can seamlessly integrate any additional accessories from many different manufacturers often without the need for modification. With a choice of standard or deluxe touchpads to supplement the foot control and foot switch, the user can operate the chair, dental light, cuspidor, handpieces and a range of other devices, including an electric micro-motor that has ully programmable endodontic facility.

Additionally there is an optional cuspidor and choice of suction instrumentation, including short and long assistant’s arm or the unique 545 delivery system for mounting onto a rear Treatment Console.
